Defining of Kalma Shahadat

The Arabic term “kalma” means “statement” or “a pledge of allegiance to Allah.” Our beloved Mazhab Islam is composed of six Kalmas. Furthermore, a Muslim’s faith comprises these six fundamental tenets. It is known as Kalma Tayyab, the first Kalma. And God’s love has been explained in it. The virtue of witnessing is described in the Second Kalma, Kalma Shahadat, while the virtue of remembering Allah is described in the final four Kalmas. We shall now elucidate the significance and virtue of the second Kalma. For a Muslim, the second Kalma is crucial because it contains the servant’s confession of the oneness of his Lord and his confirmation that Muhammad (PBUH) is both Allah’s messenger and servant. The second Kalma is crucial. The Prophets and Companions have received all of the triumphs from Allah Ta’ala. The second Kalma Shahadat served as their foundation.

Importance of Kalma Shahadat

The significance of Second Kalima English is explained here:

A Muslim’s life revolves around the phrase shahadat, which means “to bear witness.” Within it, the Muslim attests to the fact that Hazrat Muhammad is Allah’s servant and messenger and that there is no one else deserving of devotion but Allah alone.

Hadith about the 2nd Kalma Shahadat

The Hadith of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) about the 2nd Kalma are as follows:

Muhammad (PBUH) states that

“Verily, you are coming to a people among the humans of the Book (Ahl Kitab), so call them to testify there is no God but Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah.” (Al-Bukhari 1422H)

2nd Kalma In Arabic, English, and Urdu

2nd kalma in Arabic states that:

اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِيْكَ لَہٗ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُولُہٗ

2nd Kalma in English states that:

“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without a partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger“

2nd Kalma in Urdu states that:

میں گواہی دیتا ہو کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اسکا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہو کہ محمد ﷺ اسکے بندے اور رسول ہیں

Victory Through the Kalma Shahadat

This is a crucial term. The Prophets and Companions have received all of the triumphs from Allah Ta’ala. Testimony formed the basis of the word. Even though there were fewer Muslims than non-Muslims in the majority of the wars, Allah nevertheless granted the Muslims victories because of the English Second Kalma.
