Since everything in the universe has a heart, Surah Yasin is the heart of the Quran Pak. Hazrat Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, transmitted the Quran Pak from Surah Yasin Shareef (Tafsir-al-Sabuni, volume 2). The term Ya-sin translates to “O Messenger’s Chef!” One of the mysterious letters in the Horoof-e-Muqatta-aat is Yasin. The contents of these letters are confidential communications between Allah and his Prophet (P.B.U.H). Ya Seen is Surat Yasin’s English name. The 36th surah of the Quran is Surat Yaseen, which has 83 verses, 5 Ruku, and 730 words in total. There are 3068 letters in Surah Yasin.
The consequences incurred by disbelievers and their offspring over many generations are detailed in Surah Yasin. It also highlights the reality of the Resurrection and God’s sovereignty. Being a Meccan surah, its main purpose is to explain basic Islamic doctrines, especially the notion of life after death.

Benefits of Reading Surah Yasin ayat 9
Sora Yaseen verse 9 is considered as wazifa for protection and safety.
Shaykh Mehmet Rabbani said Surah Ya Seen, Verse 9, read it 7 times.
وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
And We have created a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them so they cannot see. 36:9
Everyone should chant the mantra seven times to be protected and invisible, according to Shaykh Mehmet. He said that there was no need to flee to the country, remain at home, stage protests, or hit the streets.
We call Surah Yasin the home protection wazifa because of its well-known application in home defense, especially in Verse 9. Muslims also recite Surah Yaseen as a wazifa to strengthen the bond between a husband and wife.
